May 8 - Nostalgia, High School, Tegan and Sara

I start off talking about watching pop-punk videos on YouTube and somehow end up talking about the importance of queer representation in the media? Not sure how I got there… Also my computer makes two weird noises during recording and I react professionally and effectively.

May 6 - Community, Brit Marling, Trousers

I use a sit-com, the works of an eclectic writer/actor and a beloved fantasy novel series (with mentions of comics’ greatest superhero soap-opera, a shoddy rom-com, a German thriller and the biggest sci-fi show ever) to talk about alternate timelines and parallel universes!

May 1 - Improv, Grief, Tiger King

In today’s audio log (still Not A Podcast) I finally talk about improv and how I’m feeling about it suddenly not being part of my life. There is also a short tangent about music and then a larger one on documentaries where I speculate on what the hell Tiger King is about.

April 30 - Robots, Video Essays, Outside

All about robots today. Then some YouTube recommendations. Then I start to talk about podcasts (of which this isn’t one) but instead get a bit sad about the world. But not, like, depressing. Focus on the robots.

April 29 - Video Games, D&D, Westworld

Today I talk about the fictional apocalypses I’ve been playing to distract me from the real one, briefly paraphrase someone much smarter than me talking about racism in D&D (James Mendez Hodes) and reveal how to get me to watch any TV show. There are no Westworld spoilers in this audio log.
